How small businesses and small children grow up...
I started The Pippa & Ike Show in 2011 with a small Big Cartel shop, when Pippa & Ike were still two little bunnies. We grew out of that little shop quite quickly and moved on to a custom made shop, which looked good and worked well for the next 3 years.
Pippa & Ike are 9 and 7 years old now. Just like little children, businesses do grow up. So to bring it all up to a 2015 worthy standard, we choose Shopify as a base for this new version of the shop.
Let's call it The Pippa & Ike Show 3.0.1.
Some of the new and improved features:
RESPONSIVE. For starters the new shop is responsive, which means all pages including check-out adjust in size to whatever you are viewing our shop on...whether it's a phone, a tablet or a laptop. Nice, right? Now you can easily shop from your phone too.
EASY CARD PAYMENTS. You don't have to fight your way through Paypal anymore if you would like to pay by card. Card payments go via Shopify Payments powered by Stripe. It's safe and easy and you don't even have to leave the shop for that! We accept all major cards. Of course you can still pay with your Paypal account too.
FREE SHIPPING for all UK orders over £50, plus LOWER STANDARD UK SHIPPING of £3.50 instead of £3.95. For Europe and the rest of the world we have set up a weight based system, so you don't pay too much when you purchase a small, light item. And yes, you can still pick up your order for free from our office in Bristol if you're local.
QUICK VIEW, add items to your basket without leaving the product overview pages.
An EASIER SHOPPING EXPERIENCE with better navigation and a filter system that lets you sort products per brand, artists, price or when it was added.
GIFT REGISTRY or WISH LISTS. Love the products in our shop? You can now create a Gift Registry list and collect all the things you would love to receive. Share this list with family and friends who can purchase something straight from the list. Or create a Wish List, to collect all the things you like and might want to purchase at a later date. Fantastic new features we think!
DISCOUNTS WITH OUR LOYALTY PROGRAM. We really do love and appreciate our loyal customers. Instead of handing out discount codes a few times a year to anyone, we decided to treat you personally to say thank you for your custom and loyalty. Create an account in our new shop (sorry, your old account couldn't be transferred!) and we'll give you a head start of a 100 points. Get 1 point for every £1 you spend in the shop. And every time you successfully refer our shop to a friend you'll receive 30 points. For as little as 70 points you receive 10% off, but you can safe up for a bigger discount!

IN THE PRESS PAGE. We created an in the press page because we are proud of the features. Now you can see who wrote what about us and which products they selected. Do get in touch if you would like to feature The Pippa & Ike Show or any of the wonderful quirky gifts we are selling.
ADD TO CART. We moved the Add To Cart button up so you don't have to scroll past all the blurb if you know what you wish to purchase.
BIGGER PHOTOS. With most items you can now hover over the photos to see more detail.
FREE GIFT WRAP. That's not new at The Pippa & Ike Show, we have always done that, we just love mentioning it! It's a Dutch thing I guess...gift wrap is free in The Netherlands in most shops, just part of the service. We love doing it, just let us know at check out which items to wrap, so you're all ready to go to that party. One thing less to worry about...

Let us inspire you with new products, brand features, behind the scene stories and photos, the odd interview with artists and other humans I admire, inspiring quotes, a monthly list of stuff we like/do/listen to, cool ideas for kids rooms and other stuff we find inspiring.
All in all, our aim was to give you a nicer, easier, cleaner, more inspiring and intuitive shopping experience, we hope we succeeded at this!
