We are proud to be one of only a few UK stockists of Russian toy brand Shusha.
Shusha is the brain child of Anastasia Sherbakova (designer, graduated from Moscow Art and Industrial Stroganov Academy) and Vasily Perfilyev (architect, graduated from Moscow Architectural Institute).
SHUSHA wooden toys are traditional, high-quality toys made of eco friendly wood and pleasant to hold. They are heirloom toys, fit to be passed down the generations. But they are also innovative, imaginative modern toys and games, that stimulate creative thinking, inventiveness, and fine motor skills in children, all with a good dose of humour.
We love selling Shusha toys at The Pippa & Ike Show because they are quirky, creative, well made, timeless and funny. There are no rules or complicated instructions when playing with these toys…just explore, built, laugh, be creative and you'll be in for endless hours of fun.
Who Does it Look Like is a set of 10 blocks, some painted on 2 sides, others on all 4 sides. With these blocks you can make an endless amount of funny faces...does it look like you, your mum, your neighbour or teacher? What happens if you turn the mouth around, or use the beard as hair?
The kids learn stacking blocks to create faces, they learn about facial expressions and to think in a creative way. The blocks are made of eco friendly beech wood, they are painted with non-toxic natural paint and this set has an age recommendation of 2 years and up.
Animal World is a new Shusha toy and it's hilarious. Create lots of different animals with this fantastic wooden toy ... pets, wild animals, herbivores, carnivores, fantasy creatures, whatever animal you can imagine and then some.
This is a really good toy for all ages. It's simple, stylish, fun, excellent quality, imaginative and very very funny to play with. The set has 28 pieces, made of eco friendly birch plywood, painted with non-toxic paints. It has an age recommendation of 3 years and up.
Moon and Stars by Shusha is a whimsical eco friendly wooden balancing game. Players take turns placing stars on the moon, stacking them carefully so not one of the stars comes tumbling down.
A perfect game to develop fine motor skills and learn about balance. Expect a lot of giggles as the stars come tumbling down and proud faces when they manage to pile them all up! The age recommendation for this game is 3-5 years.
Make a Portrait is one of the first games by Shusha. I gave Pippa & Ike a set a few years ago and now, age 8 and 10, they still love playing with it. There is one basic face shape and 44 different parts (eyes, noses, mouths, glasses, hair etc) that are double sided to allow for more options.
Create a million faces with this absolutely fantastic wooden toy. Explore facial expressions and emotions, create faces that are young, old, male or female, realistic or totally whacky. This is a really good toy for all ages. It's simple, stylish, fun, excellent quality, imaginative and hilarious. The set is made of eco friendly beech and non toxic natural paint. Th age recommendation is 3 years and up.
I love the Zoo wooden set, I really do. Like all Shusha toys it is really well made of eco friendly beech wood and painted with non toxic natural paint. You can make an endless amount of different animals with these wooden shapes. From kittens and puppies, to elephants and giraffes to any fantasy animal you can think of, this Zoo set will let a child's imagination to run wild.
The 23 wooden parts have little hidden magnets, which makes it easy to create and display your animal.
